A rare artefact from the "Golden Age" of outdoor gear, which showed up in The North Face 1975 catalogue, the tent was based on Fuller's geodesic dome, which was created to meet the demands of the expeditions of outdoor athletes.
Buckminster Fuller was a forward thinking comprehensive anticipatory design scientist, ahead of his time for the now ever present topic of sustainable living.
